When you are in a rut it means that what you are doing is no longer working, at least for right now.
A great way to get started on the climb out of the rut is to immerse yourself in one or a couple of great books. Visit a bookstore or library and enter with the intention that you are open to receiving new ideas and then take your time wandering through the aisles. Let the books find you and record their messages. Check the community bulletin board and scan for any interesting workshops or courses in your area. Be lead by the messages that present themselves to you. Trust it!
Change starts from becoming aware and modifying our own behaviour. We all know how impossible it is to change someone else, so don’t even go there and begin by focusing on yourself, the chances of success are much greater! Access your resources; there is an abundance of information and people ready to inspire you!

We can all identify with this scenario: a certain song comes on the radio and immediately we travel back to the moment where we danced joyfully under the stars or in the rain or drove on an open road feeling the warm wind or felt the security of a loving embrace.
Music can take us to wherever we want to go. If you are struggling with change right now or simply enjoying the ride as life unfolds, I encourage you to find some music that suits your mood and get lost for a while. Dance, cry, laugh! When you hear the music in the future, you will be able to remember this time as an important part of your journey. Enjoy!

Wishing you love and peace!
If you are looking for more meaning in your career here are some tips and advice. Enjoy!
1. Assess your Attitude
· Often when we aren’t happy in our work, we spend a lot of time complaining and criticizing management for the things we don’t agree with or don’t like about work.
2. Take Responsibility
· Ask yourself: What am I bringing to the table here? What am I contributing? Do I present solutions? What can I do to improve the environment at work?
3. Start Today & Be Grateful
· Look around and see all of the things that are going right at work, things that you are grateful for, if necessary write them all down to remind yourself.
1. Create your Happy or your Dream List
· When were you the most happy? What do you want to be doing with your time? Write out a list of ideal jobs or career scenarios.
2. Look for Opportunities
· Consider a lateral move at work, what opportunities exist? If not, find people that have the job you want and conduct informational interviews. Find out what you need to get where you want to go!
3. Get Involved & Bridge your Gap
· Become the ideal candidate for your ideal job by taking courses, volunteer and meet the people necessary to move you to where you want to go.
You are here for a reason, your contributions matter! Your dreams are clues to finding your life purpose and each day can move us closer to our potential! Enjoy the process!

There is nothing like pushing through a day at work when you are feeling tired and frustrated. Especially when that day turns into a week and all you long for is the weekend!
We dream about how we want things to be but just don’t have the energy to get started. We know that living for the weekend is no way to live and that each moment is sacred so what can we do to get energized? How do we restore our hope and happiness?
I believe that when we begin to struggle in our lives it is because we are out of alignment; it is because what we are doing is not matching what we are thinking. Sometimes there are blocks and restrictions in our thinking and bodies that prevent us from moving forward and negative self-defeating thoughts take over.
The best place to start in regaining our natural peaceful and positive state is by returning to our breath and developing an accepting and loving awareness and appreciation of self.
It is love that makes the impossible possible. ~ Indian Proverb
There are many ways to get achieve this, through positive self talk and affirmations, yoga, meditation, visualization practices but one of my favourites is going to the spa for energy healing and deep tissue massage!!!
Tomorrow on Embrace Your Life Radio Show, I am excited to talk to Amy Pilmer of The Perfect Ten Salon about spa treatments and new trends in body work. Amy is many things including a passionate professional and also a Reiki practitioner who is skilled at clearing energy blocks. Want to know more ~ tune in tomorrow!

Good Afternoon!! Last week I wrote about ensuring that your goals are yours and not what you think you should have or want etc..
I received a few emails saying that this topic was really helpful and because I love talking about goals ~ I decided to share another tip:
Share and speak regularly about your dreams and goals with someone else.
Think about the past, was there ever a time when there was something that you really wanted but didn’t get? Did you end up dismissing the idea, dream or goal because it seemed unobtainable, silly or ridiculous?
What would have happened if you would have told someone about that dream? Well, try it today and find out. Here is an exercise I use in my coaching practice.
Think about something that you have always wanted in your life. I am talking really, really wanted – something that when you think about it, your heart beats faster and you smile.
Now write it out completely describing everything you see, feel, hear, taste, touch and smell and then choose someone to share it with – someone you can trust and ask them to simply listen.
Now describe to them the picture you have of your ideal mate, body, career, home or health. Use sensory descriptors – take them into the picture with you.
What you will find is that once these words escape your mouth they become more real and you see that new ideas and opportunities form because your dream is looking for ways to take form. AND because someone knows about your dream and goal – you are held more accountable!
Another reason to share with others is that, it is quite possible that the person you shared with will connect you with ideas, resources or people that will lead you further along in your journey. So please try it and share your dreams! :o)
In light of this topic: I would like to share my intention and dream with you ~ “My goal is to expand my business and reach more people, sharing inspirational and empowering information to help people align with their ideal lives and evolve toward their potential.”
Please help me by sharing with me your experience in a few sentences and whether the content in the Embrace Change Ezine or the Embrace Your Life Transition Blog has inspired or empowered you in any way.
I would like to post your words onto my website with the hope that your experience may inspire someone else along their journey and also to help me in meeting my goal of reaching more people in my work.
lf you are interested, please include your experience and if you would agree to let me post your name and city (and website if you have one) on my website as testimonial of the quality information that I share.
Thank you sincerely for your time and consideration of my request. Best wishes as you open yourself up and share your dreams with the world! Enjoy!!
